Tier 1 (Investor & Entrepreneur) Visa
Tier 1 is designed to attract ‘high net worth’ individuals to make significant investments in the UK. Entering the UK on a Tier 1 visa can benefit a business or individual greatly as it provides full and uninhibited access to the employment market. We advise across the board on Business Immigration and we specialise advising under the Points Based System (PBS).
Serving Businesses
We take the Chinese “Guanxi” approach to business and believe in building lasting business relationships with our Tier 1 clients. We offer bespoke legal advice to our investor clients upon entry into the UK, which includes advice on:

- Contracts
Tier 1 Investor Visa Legal Advice
The Tier 1 (Investor) visa is available for anyone with at least £2,000,000 investment funds. If this is the individual’s own money, or belongs to a partner, the eligibility requirements are less stringent than for those who have secured a loan. Where the funds have been loaned, the individual must also have more than £2,000,000 personal assets.
Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa Legal Advice
The Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) visa is available for anyone who wishes to set up or run a business in the UK and has access to £50,000 or more. The eligibility requirements vary depending on the amount of investment funds available. If you have access to £200,000, the criteria are less onerous than for those with access to £50,000.
Tier 1 visas usually last just over three years, although it is possible to apply to extend the visa, or for settlement (indefinite leave to remain) after working in the UK for 5 years. The eligibility requirements for Tier 1 visas vary according to the type of category applied for.
